A question I get asked by the majority of my clients.
When my clients ask me about keeping their online presence current or improving their search engine optimization (SEO), one of my answers is always - a blog.
Even if you upload a blog once a month, it lets Google know your website is active and current. You want to write blogs geared towards your ideal client, including relevant keywords, which helps directly tell Google who you're trying to attract.
Blogs can also answer specific questions your clients are asking. If your blog is titled right and the body includes helpful and relevant information, you'll start being pulled up more frequently when that question is asked.
In short, I'm not going to tell you what to do, but an updated blog can contribute to better SEO, and overall online presence.
